Ideal Real Estate Limited (IRE) was setup in response to a clear need to provide a full-service Estate Agency and Property Management entity, in response to calls by foreign, government-affiliated Construction Companies, Embassies and High Commissions, Developmental Partners, NGO’s and Corporate Entities that were flocking into the country to assist in the developmental effort after the stabilization of the economy and the political landscape during the latter part of the Rawlings era. 

IRE recognized that a good many of its clients were completely time-bound, in terms of the contracts they had won in Ghana and needed to execute within very tight schedules.

  In addition, the “internationalization” of processes and procedures of contract execution in Ghana prevented companies from sending advance teams into town to collate local information and determine the level of local input that could be expected during the tenure of their contracts. Again, it was impossible to spend resources on an expatriate staffer that could be well used in seeking and developing a rapport with a local agency or entity that knew the local terrain inside out and could be contracted to perform duties that would enhance the viability of the contractors’ contribution in Ghana.

In effect, IRE was the entity that stepped into the breach and joined traditional agencies like William Ofori & Co., and Owusu Adjepong & Partners, both originally valuation and property consultants turned estate agencies.
